Artintech ERP October 2026 Development Update #
October’s development work focused on making daily operations easier to manage and business activity easier to review. Highlights include new dashboard views, document email tools, expanded audit history, and improvements across sales, finance, inventory, quality and maintenance.
More useful information on your dashboard #
New and updated dashboard widgets bring key operational information together:
- Task Center separates tasks assigned to you from tasks you created and assigned to others. Open, in-progress and overdue indicators help you prioritize work, with links to task details and the full task list.
- Sales Overview charts net invoiced sales over selectable periods, accounting for eligible credit memos and presenting values in the company’s reporting currency.
- Items to Reorder highlights inventory at or below its reorder point, with out-of-stock and safety-stock alerts to help purchasing teams identify priorities.
- Open Sales Orders provides a company-wide view of outstanding orders for authorized users, with access to the full list.
Personal and company dashboard settings support control over widget visibility, position and order.
Document email and improved PDF tools #
Document email tools support estimates, sales orders, invoices, purchase orders, and corrective and preventive work orders. Users can review the message, adjust recipients, add CC or BCC addresses, and inspect the PDF before sending.
Default messages can be configured by document type. Email history records recipients, message details and send status, while retaining the PDF snapshot associated with the original email for later reference.
Shared PDF tools also provide preview, print and download actions, plus zoom controls, page navigation, fit options and text search within searchable PDFs.
Clearer sales and finance workflows #
Redesigned Estimate and Sales Order detail pages organize information into clearer sections, with navigation between items, documents, notes and actions. Compact headers retain the document reference while scrolling, and layouts adapt to smaller screens.
Additional improvements include customer purchase order references in sales order and invoice lists, shipping approval history, and preservation of explicitly selected or cleared estimate line taxes. Supplier default tax settings and tax information carried from quotes into purchase orders support more consistent purchasing entry.
A dedicated Open Invoices page supports follow-up using customer, date, invoice-status and payment-status filters. The Sales and Purchases Analysis report compares sales activity with supplier-invoiced purchase values, with period charts, item-level detail, source transactions, and Excel or CSV export.
Better fulfillment and inventory visibility #
The redesigned Itemized Fulfillment Report combines document-level status summaries with detailed required, delivered and open quantities. Filters, overdue indicators, linked records and full filtered-data Excel export support operational review. Fulfillment screens also display descriptions from the corresponding sales order lines.
Receiving improvements combine item dialogs with inline preparation and bulk application of warehouse sections and expiry dates to selected eligible lines. Inventory history presentation and adjustment reporting have also been refined, including clearer creator and submitter information.
Warehouse forms now support complete addresses, including country, province or state, and a second street address line. Default warehouse selection is handled consistently within each company.
Expanded audit history and access administration #
Record History, Employee Activity and the central Audit Log provide additional visibility into supported business changes and actions. Authorized users can inspect who performed an action, when it occurred, and relevant before-and-after values, including grouped document and line changes.
Audit search, filtering, related-event investigation and controlled export support review across business areas. The updated role-permission editor groups access by module and function, supports search and bulk changes, and presents a review of pending changes before saving.
More complete risk and opportunity records #
The updated Risk and Opportunity detail page supports compliance relevance, priority, treatment strategy, effort, review dates and progress, alongside opportunity decisions, benefits and outcomes.
Risk assessment, residual assessment and reduction indicators are presented together. Explicit residual acceptance records the responsible employee and acceptance time, with reassessment requiring renewed acceptance. PDF reporting includes the relevant saved risk or opportunity information.
Quality maintenance and everyday usability #
Document Control views use clearer layouts for metadata, ownership, files, purpose, revision history and attachments. Calibration history links directly to reports, adds deletion confirmation, and excludes deleted reports from calculated calibration dates and status.
Maintenance updates preserve customer-location selections and explain why Create Invoice is unavailable, including unfinished work orders, existing active invoices or unsaved warehouse changes.
Across updated screens, table sizing, customer-name sorting, date-range controls, responsive layouts, and English, French and Spanish labels have received further improvements.
Feature availability depends on your enabled modules, user permissions and deployment schedule.
