Why Equipment Cannot Be Deleted #
Artintech CMMS does not allow deletion of equipment to ensure historical data integrity and prevent accidental data loss. Instead, duplicates can be marked as inactive.
Steps to Inactivate Duplicate Equipment: #
Access Equipment Details:
- Navigate to the Equipment/Assets Detail page of the duplicate entry.
Change the Status:
- Use the toggle switch at the top of the page to set the equipment’s status to Inactive.
Retain the Correct Entry:
- Keep the equipment entry with the most accurate and complete information active. Mark other duplicates as inactive.
