Event Recap: Turning AI and Robotics into Measurable Operational Gains

On May 1st, 2026, industry professionals, manufacturers, technology leaders, engineers, consultants, startups, and SME owners gathered at The Curators Hub for the executive workshop “Turning AI and Robotics into Measurable Operational Gains.”

Organized by IndustrioTech Community, DX.Training, Artintech ERP, AI-Innovate, Beaver Robotics, and the Ontario Centre of Innovation, the event welcomed approximately 100 attendees for a full day of discussions, demonstrations, networking, and hands-on learning focused on the practical applications of AI and robotics in industrial operations.

The event highlighted a growing reality within the Canadian industrial sector: operational AI is no longer limited to large enterprises. With the advancement of accessible technologies, government support programs, and collaborative innovation ecosystems, AI-powered operational improvement is becoming increasingly achievable for small and medium-sized manufacturers.
